An airline Captain by profession and having no discernible talent in the performing arts myself, I watched how my son had developed so well through performance and how happy he was and indeed still is. It was this that made me decide to branch into Sirius Young Performers Ltd to help others experience what Oscar did. By employing the amazing team we have and sticking to our core principles, I believe that Sirius Young Performers can provide an amazing theatrical training experience. I enjoy eating out far too much and being near water.

Hello my name is Oscar, I’m 14 and recently I became an apprentice at Sirius Young Performers. I started as a performer, then became a mentor, before being asked to take my current role having done it successfully as voluntary work for my D of E award. I have been doing Drama since I was about 7 when I did my first advert for tesco’s. Along with being an apprentice, I also take part in the youtube channel @siriuslygoodtv and I am a client of the agency.
Friendly, polite, confident, a quick learner and eager to work, I am so pleased to be an Apprentice with Sirius Young Performers. With a merit in musical theatre and studying for GCSE’s in Music and Drama, I am keen to continue developing in the performing arts and share what I currently know. I also enjoy Karate, listening to music, playing the ukulele, the piano and singing.
Katy started her vocal training at the age of 18 at Colchester institute where she achieved a Distinction in popular music performance. Katy then moved to London to study a Diploma at Tech Music Schools where she was then successfully accepted to undergo a degree in popular music (specialising in vocals) where she graduated in 2010.
During her time in London, Katy became a session singer for the BBC and ITV doing backing vocals for artists on shows such as The National Lottery, Blue Peter, Fame Academy and featuring in the world cup advert in 2010 for The SUN newspaper.
Katy has always had a passion for song writing and performing. During her years at University she formed her band TIGRESS.
TIGRESS released their debut EP ‘Human’ on 13 November 2015. It was co-produced by You Me at Six guitarist Max Helyer and John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios in Reading and mixed by Romesh Dodangoda. In support of the ‘Human’ EP release, 2016 saw TIGRESS go out on a short headline tour in June which included a sold out show in the band’s hometown of Chelmsford. In late 2016, the band went into Middle Farm Studios to record their ‘Like It Is ‘EP with Peter Miles.
In March 2017 the band went on a 2 month tour of the UK and mainland Europe visiting 12 countries with rock band Counterfeit . On 12 May 2017, the band released the ‘Like It Is’ EP. This was followed by a set at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, performing with Green Day at British Summer Time in Hyde Park and a tour of Russia and Eastern Europe with Billy Talent.

Hope is a guitarist and singer songwriter from Essex. Hope has been playing since the age of 13 and a childhood love of poetry naturally led into lyric writing. Inspired by how music boosted her own self confidence, she hopes to help other young people find their own voice through music.
I am a primary school teacher whose talents, sadly, do not extend to the performing arts, so I am living my life vicariously through my son who has been part of the Sirius family since the start. The support and encouragement he receives from the coaches, mentors and his peers is genuine and constant. As a mum, it has been wonderful to see his confidence, talent and friendships grow in such a safe environment. The Sirius family is one we are both proud to be a part of.
Like Lacey, Chloe has demonstrated all the attributes to make a wonderful Mentor. Having joined us comparatively recently Chloe rapidly demonstrated a huge enthusiasm for the performing arts and indeed a caring and sharing attitude. Always looking out for others and constantly putting herself forward, Chloe typifies what we look for in a Mentor. Indeed, very recently, Chloe blew us away when she shared a song that she had written. She not only wrote it, but sang and played the piano too. Chloe is also a presenter on our YouTube channel Siriusly Good TV.
I’m Lucas, a recent member of the team. I’m an amateur film maker and joined Siriusly Good TV through The Colchester Institute. I have a growing knowledge and love of films, comic books and pop culture. When not filming it, I appear on Sirisuly Good TV as the film Critic.
Lacey is 13 years old and has been part of the Sirius company since we began, she is also a vital and valued member of @siriuslygoodtv. Lacey brings enthusiasm and energy to everything she does, and we feel that she is a great role model who encompasses all of what we are about; kindness, support and effort. Laceys will be to be a role model and mentor for all of our young company, she will support the staff team, thus gaining some work experience and leadership skills.
Although my heritage is Dutch, I was born in 2003 on a production line at Leyland Trucks in Preston. Very quickly, a man from Bishop Stortford fell in love with me and asked a company to make some changes to me. He used me to sell horse grooming products. About 10 years later, a couple bought me in Stoke. They sold Christmas products from me. Finally, Sirius Young Performers owner fell in love with me too. He says I’ll be with him forever. Lots of children will be singing and dancing on my stage at Fetes, Fayres and other venues. Exciting times ahead.
